Dinner rolls, potato rolls or sweet rolls of any kind can also be used.<\/div><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><div><strong>Swiss Cheese<\/strong>. Provolone also works in this, as well as a mild cheddar cheese. Avoid super strong flavored cheeses. They will overpower the other ingredients. Besides, what better combination is ham &amp; swiss cheese?<\/div><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><div><strong>Deli Ham<\/strong>. Any kind of ham is fair game. Country ham, deli sliced ham, leftover sliced ham. Bring it. You want it to be thin sliced, so they are easy to eat. You can also do sliced turkey if you have it on hand. Use leftover <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.kyleecooks.com\/crockpot-ham\/\">holiday ham<\/a><\/strong> if you have it!<\/div><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><div><strong>Pineapple<\/strong>. Fresh or canned, it doesn&rsquo;t matter. Fresh will need to be sliced thinner, since it is harder than canned. <\/div><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><div><strong>Butter<\/strong>. I use salted butter.<\/div><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><div><strong>Poppy Seeds<\/strong>. Totally optional, but they look so pretty and add a subtle crunch. Yum!<\/div><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><div><strong>Mustard<\/strong>. I use whole grain, but Dijon mustard is fabulous in this<\/div><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><div><strong>Garlic<\/strong>. Freshly minced, you could sub garlic powder if you wish!
