My ingredients are minimal! I use a spiral ham, which just means that it has been pre-cut into slices while still staying &ldquo;whole&rdquo;.<\/div><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><div><strong>Brown sugar.<\/strong> Maple syrup or honey can be used as a substitute. I use light brown sugar, most of the time.<\/div><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><div><strong>Orange juice.<\/strong> Use fresh or concentrate, or swap with pineapple juice for a tropical touch.<\/div><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><div><strong>Spicy brown mustard.<\/strong> For a milder flavor, try Dijon mustard, or use whole grain mustard.<\/div><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><div><strong>Red wine vinegar.<\/strong> A splash of apple cider vinegar can be used for a slightly sweeter acidity.<\/div><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><div><strong>Ground cloves.<\/strong> Adds warmth&mdash;try a pinch of allspice for a similar effect. If you have whole cloves, grind them up so the flavor goes into the glaze better.<\/div><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><div><strong>Fresh rosemary.<\/strong> Thyme is a good substitute for an earthy flavor.
