Totally made up that last term &ndash; scramble-and-shovel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>That&rsquo;s why I lean on recipes like this one. These Baked Pork Chops are fast, flavorful, and feel a little fancy &ndash; even on a busy Tuesday night. You only need a few pantry staples, one skillet, and 20 minutes &ndash; yes, 20! &ndash; to make it happen. Whether you&rsquo;re feeding the family or just treating yourself, this recipe brings bold flavor with minimal effort.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The best part of this is that they&rsquo;re pretty easy. We mix up the topping, and add it to the chops (seasoned with salt and pepper). Then, cook them for about 2 minutes in an oven proof skillet. Transfer the skillet to the oven and cook for about 6 minutes, then lightly broil the top until golden brown. You can of course use packaged breadcrumbs, but in this recipe I do just throw some bread into the food processor. Makes a softer topping, that soaks up all the flavors, and causes extreme deliciousness.
