I can’t imagine why someone would rate this less than 5 stars. Whenever I make this for the family it is always gone. I now make 2-3 and it is still gone.

We are from the Southwest.
We added 2/3 cup of sautéed fresh field corn and diced hatch green chili to the batter. What a delight.

This is it- the most perfect cornbread ever! No fussy ingredients and perfectly golden brown. I used gluten free 1:1 flour blend and it was amazing.
